This repair kit supplies the capacitors needed to repair the power supply board inside a LG 32LB9D, LCD TV. This repair kit is for the power supply board pictured above. Please verify that the power supply board inside your LCD monitor or TV matches this power supply board before ordering!

I decided to try these capacitors because my LG 32LB9D took 40+ minutes to get to a working state. I would power it on and get a black screen. It took a minimum of 40 minutes of being turned on, then turned off and back on again, before it would reach a usable state.

I received my order three days after purchase. The instructions on LCDalternative's website were clear and concise, even though they didn't have my exact model of TV included. Four of the capacitors on the power board were bubbled up (all four were 2200 microfarad, 10V) and it took 15-20 minutes to replace them. Total repair time, including disassembling and reassembling the TV, was about 30 minutes.

Now my TV powers on almost instantly. No problems, everything seems to be working fine. If you're having a similar problem and you're comfortable soldering and desoldering electronic parts, I would definitely recommend trying these capacitors before spending $200+ at a TV repair shop.
