I was replacing my Sear's Craftsman Scroll Saw and foot pedal, and purchased a new Delta Scroll Saw and this foot pedal. It works fine, but I switched my Craftsman pedal for this one, mainly because the Craftsman pedal has a guard arond it that doesn't let you "accidentally" engage the saw until you are ready. Like I said, there's nothing wrong with the Woodtek foot pedal, just lacks that one safety feature. The old adage is correct, "you get what you pay for."
