I bought the bulbs to replace regular 72W incandescent ones installed on my floor lamps. The light from the the spiral bulbs is soft and normal, which is exactly what I prefer. But there is 2-3 minutes delay for the bulb to reach its full intense after you switch it on. Also I feel that the light output produced by the bulb is probably equivalent to that of the 72W regular bulb replaced by me. In other words, the light from the bulb is definitely not as bright as that of regular 100W one.
Note: I ordered the 4-pack from Amazon but 2 of 4 bulbs were damaged upon arrival.
