This cable was on sale for cheaper than the gas it'd cost me to drive to the nearest store to pick one up, so it was a great buy. It's very substantial, the cable is much thicker than most cat6 cables I've seen, presumably due to extra cable shielding and bigger wire. In theory this should help performance but I've yet to do testing to confirm. The only problem is it's so thick, it's somewhat inflexible so if you need it to connect 2 things that are stacked on top of each other, it might not be the best cable for you. My router and cable modem are stacked, and this cable is so rigid that it lifts my router off the modem so the cable can be straight again. I'd still buy it again at the price I paid though.
