I recently installed a combination ceiling fan and light in a shower stall. The problem was finding a waterproof PAR30 long-neck bulb that wouldn't overwhelm the small space. I started with a 75-watt floodlight that was so intense it actually burned my scalp. I quickly switched to a 50-watt floodlight that was still too intense. At that point I began to despair that any lower wattage sealed bulb existed. When I discovered this particular bulb on Amazon, I was ecstatic. It provides just the right amount of illumination without burning my head or exposing every flaw in the tile and grout. Just try to find a 35-watt PAR30 bulb at your local hardware store or even a specialty electrical supplier. They are obviously not widely available and I'm very pleased to have found them from an Amazon marketplace supplier. Because I fear that they will one day go out of production, I bought two. You should, too. Just one minor quibble: the shipping charges seem steep for such a small, light item.
