I was looking to replace some main white stage spotlights and didn't want to spend one or two hundred bucks for more Par64 Cans so I took a chance on these.

They use the standard E27 lamp socket (household light socket) and at 12 watts, the three LED elements produce a strong bright white light, sterile with a touch of what people call 'bluing" - which is exactly what I was looking for. They also make ones that have a softer hue if you don't desire the bright sterility these provide.

They work perfectly at about 1/10th the price of a new can!

I can now use the existing Par64 cans for colored RGB background lighting and scenes, and use the extremely bright inexpensive white LED lamps for spots and have money leftover. I just screwed them into older Par cans and 'whallah!'

Highly recommended but caution: The metal ribbed sides of the lamp are sharp and could easily slice or cut a finger!
