I purchased them from Best Buy. They were to be used as an extension cable for an external hard drive. The first I purchased from Best Buy. The thing stopped working in less than an a week. I was able to return it (with some arguing since it was opened), and got a replacement. The replacement also stopped working, but this time after a month, and they refused to take it back.
