A very low price for LED light bulbs, and it shows in some places.

The bulbs come in plain OEM style white boxes. The boxes are too small to actually fit the bulbs in, so the boxes open during shipping. For those interested, the label on the box reads E27 220v Indo... 12W Day White 65000k-6500k. For those that care, there is no marking anywhere that these bulbs are UL listed.

The ribs along the sides of the bulb are bare unfinished metal. Unlike some other bulbs, they metal is not polished or coated, so it is a bit sharp. Not razor sharp, but sharp enough to be a little careful when installing/uninstalling the bulbs

Like many LED bulbs, the light from these is much more of a spot light. In my case I am using them as grow lights for an indoor herb garden, so the spotlight effect is fine. If you are wanting to light up a room, then these will not work out as well.

From my experience, bulbs never quite live up to the equivalent incandescent bulb ratings they list. With these bulbs it is even harder to visually judge because of spot light effect. Within the light spot, the output seems to be around a 40 watt bulb. This is of course just my observational guesstimate. The light outside the spot VERY quickly drops off to nothing.

Time will tell how long these guys last

2 of the 4 I ordered were DOA. Upon closer examination, the wires that attach to the base of the bulb had come off. It would be an easy fix for anyone handy with a soldering iron, but a new item should not need to be repaired. On the other hand, for those wanting to use the bulbs for the components, the bulbs simply unscrew and the internals just pop right out.
