My router went out one day. I am set up on the opposite side of my house with my electronics, so I decided to get a quick fix by buying a long Ethernet cable to continue getting my internet connection....while taking my time to purchase a new router. I chose a 50 foot cable, which allows me to run it under my carpet and rugs along the walls, so that foot traffic would not put the cable in danger of being stepped on. The cable works well, and I have had no problems with it thus far. I do, however, notice that the cable is not as well manufactured as the Ethernet cables that came with my router/computers. Because of this, I gave it 4 out of 5 stars.
