• Easy file sharing and data transfer between two PCs via USB port
• Supports data transfer rate of up to 480 Mbps
• Suitable for laptop PC and SOHO environment

Product Description

IOGear's GUN262WV Smartlink USB Adapter is specially designed to work with Windows Easy Transfer, a new feature on the most recent Windows operation system - 7 and Vista. It is a USB 2.0 host-to-host link adapter allowing you to migrate files and settings from an existing computer running Windows XP or Windows Vista to another new computer running Windows Vista or 7. No additional driver and software are required on Windows Vista and 7. With the adapter in conjunction with Windows Easy Transfer, users can transfer user accounts, files and program settings directly from one PC to another without having to transfer the files to intermediary data storage. For those who need bulk data backup/restore, synchronization or file sharing, it's an ideal transferring solution.

IOGEAR Smartlink USB 2.0 Adapter GUN262WV (Black) Review

I often transfer large files between my office computer and a netbook - both running Windows XP - and my home computer which runs Windows Vista. I was looking for a way of doing that transfer directly instead of using email or USB drives as intermediaries. This product caught my attention because it was advertised as "ideal" for such transfers. This turned out to be deceptive.

This product was designed with a single purpose in mind - a one time file transfer from an "old" Windows XP machine to a "new" Windows Vista or Windows 7 machine. If you want to transfer files the other way, this product simply will not do it. This seems to be the fault of the software that comes with the product and also is a part of Windows Vista and does not allow two way transfers. This rather serious limitation is not stated in the product's description.

What is more, to transfer files by this cable, you must shut down all running applications on both machines. This is a rather serious inconvenience for something as simple as transferring a few files. It is not necessary to shut down any programs when saving files to a USB drive. Describing this process as "easy" is yet another instance of deceptive advertising.

It also seems that myopic visionaries at Microsoft missed the boat again and failed to design software allowing a seemingly simple task of direct file transfer between two computers.

In sum - a piece of junk of very limited usefulness. Do not waste your money on it.

• Emitting color：warm white, 3200K
• 24pcs super bright 5050 SMD LEDs to produce as much as 240Lm
• 360 degree ,omni-directional view angle

Product Description

Torchstar has always been trying to help you save on electric bill. We would like to recommend this warm white (3200K, 240Lm) LED bulb as a replacement for 15W Halogen lamps.

This G4 lamp is tiny in size (about 22(dia)*42.2(lemgth)mm), but super bright with 24pcs 5050 LED chips. By using only less than 20% energy compared to Halogen lamp,which means less expenses on your bills.

For your Car / Boat / Marine / RV or Household lighting items especially Landscape Light, this lamp is a great choice for its high brightness, plug-and-play feature and 20,000 Hrs long life-span. Lamp surface mounted LEDs provide overlap coverage so there's no dark spots other than shadow of your fixture.

Here is an convincing example,LED bulb VS 15W Halogen bulb (8hours / day over 1 year):

- --Power Consumption Comparison

Electric consumption of LED 2W bulb: 2W × 8Hrs × 365=5.84Kwh;
Electric consumption of 15W Incandescent bulb: 15W× 8Hrs × 365=48.3Kwh
Electric consumption ratio (LED to Halogen): 727.05%

--Life-span comparison:

LED: approx × 20,000Hrs;
Incandescent bulb: approx × 1500Hrs;
1 LED bulb = 13 Halogen bulbs

Now we can tell from the comparison: LED lamp is far more energy efficient than Halogen lamps.

Suggested uses:
Landscape light, Reading lamp, Cabinet lights, Night Light, Tail light, Instrument Cluster Light, Under hood light, Dash Light, Dome Light, License Plate Light, Reverse Light, Parking Light etc, anywhere that fits for a G4 lamp base.

Package includes 1 pc LED G4 lamp,(13SMD, 15SMD,18SMD 5050 G4 lamps are available in our store )

TorchStar Tower Type LED G4 3200K Warm White Lamp 24SMD 5050 LED , Halogen Bulb Replacement 12V 2Watts Omni-Directional Review

I waited to review this until I was comfortable with the performance. After a month it did good, and it still is going great 3 going on 4 months. I was frustrated with the Halogen bulbs I had bought from the Big Box stores & on line stores. No matter how many watts I cut from the transformer, the bulbs kept burning out. The transformer/fixture manufactuerer kept saying it was the bulbs (even though they sold me some the bulbs that kept burning up) I am not sure these people know the wattage max of the transformer/fixture they sell! I will keep buying a few of these at a time-It may be a bit pricey up front-but I am tired of changing bulbs. I have spent more on halogen bulb replacements that it would have cost me upfront to get these. ( I use these more for security that looks & have 30 metal not plastic low volt lights)

6 inch USB Micro Cable for Samsung S425G SLIDER. Charger/Data/Computer/Sync cord Review

I bought a ravpower battery pack to charge my phone on the go. This little cable fits in with my charge pack and I can literally run around with my phone for 3 weeks before needing to hook up to a power source. The short length is nice because it doesn't get tangled in my case, so the length is actually beneficial to me.

125 Watt Heat Lamp / Clear / R40 Shape (5" Diameter) / Medium Base Review

It works ok but it extends beyond the cover of our fixture in the ceiling (about 1/4"+). You should go ahead and get the higher wattage as I find 125 W is not enough to make a difference when you come out of the shower or bath.

Monster 8ft Ultra Series THX 800 HDMI to DVI Video Cable Review

This article got the wrong description or the wrong article. I bought this, thinking, by the picture, that I got a very good Monster cable HDMI to DVI and I received a HDMI to HDMI Cable. The cable is very good anyway, but definitively there is something wrong. I'll keep the cable because it's very good anyway. Returning the cable and ask for a correction is rather more expensive.

Cat6 cable includes a spline to help ensure separation between the pairs which limits cross talk. The connectors are wired to the T568B standard. The individual conductors are 24 AWG (American wire gauge) stranded pure copper. Cat6 patch cables are stranded to improve flexibility. Pure copper conductors provide the best signal possible. Cooler Master RR-CCH-ANU2-GP Gemin II Dual 120mm Fans CPU & Motherboard Cooler Review

I have this one for over 9 months now, and I'm xtremly satisfied. With 2 good PWM fans (also CM) it is as silent as you get. Last summer I overclocked my Core2 6320 from 1.86 to full 3GHz and had 50 to 55 Deg C under full load with 35 degC outside. Right now it's on default 1.86 and temp is 22-24 degC with 20 degC in my room
