I'm still breaking the AC-5 in and at about 70 hours of use now, though they say it needs 200+ hours to fully air these suckers out, so my initial opinion could change. But the impression so far is that it seems to make the most difference on a DAC, where it adds a bit more air, detail and tightens up the bass. I have added other cables one at a time to varying components, starting with another AC-5 on an integrated tube amp and then a AC-10 between the wall and PS Audio Quintet, but the difference has been more slight -- again, with just a touch more of the above. There is likely a cumulative effect of the three working together that is about a 5% improvement in the system overall (at least at this stage), and thus far the AC-5 is a better value than the AC-10 in my system at least. I'm not really convinced of the improvement from AC-5 to AC-10 and don't have the ducats to try the AC-12 yet.
