I love the look, but the wheat haze finish crazes under the heat of the 50 watt 12v MR16 bulb over time.

Since, I have had these installed for few months the crazed or finely cracked finish looks pretty cool.

They should market this as a feature, that as they age they will get better looking with a slight crazing to the finish.

I actually love these trim rings, but it took me a while to warm up to idea that the finish was a work in progress.
