Product Description

The 500 Series Panic Exit Bar is durable and reliable. This model by Sentry Safety Hardware is perfect for warehouses, factories, schools, hospitals, or any other medium to high usage exits. This particular bar comes with an 11/16" deadlocking bolt to create a dependable connection between the door and the exit device. The 500 Series has a unique feature that allows the panic bar to be unlocked by fastening the crossbar in the depressed position and keeping the bolts in a retracted position. This feature is Allen key dogging and enables the door to be open from either side. This feature reduces the strain on the device's springs and mechanisms because there is no necessity to engage an internal mechanism each time the door is opened.
With this model you have choices in appearance and installation. It is available in a painted or stainless steel finish. It can be installed on wood or hallow metal doors that are 1 ¾' (44mm) thick. Also don't forget the Cylinder Lock permits the user to install accessories so the door can be opened from outside. The cylinder lock connects to the internal mechanisms of the push bar by way of a 2 3/4" hole in the door. This model has a Semi-length Push pad.

best. The key cylinder could be made better very cheap. The price was fair for what it is.
I doubt I would buy another.
