Used this on a customers vehicle where we wired in an inline maxi fuse holder to protect a certain circuit on their motorhome. They had been having problems blowing fuses and when it would happen in the middle of nowhere, they could not readily find replacement fuses of this size. This breaker is the perfect alternative. It fits just like a normal maxi fuse, but won't burn up like a fuse when the amperage exceeds 40 amps. Although it is a little expensive, all of our local suppliers were 2 weeks out. Amazon was able to get it to our shop the next day. I would highly recommend this for anyone who uses maxi fuses for high amperage applications.

I have ordered several different BA15 base LEDs in the past couple of months in order to test them aginst each other. These are the brightest (320-370 lumen) LEDs I have ordered. I found them terrific in that they replaced all of the lights in my RV and gave the same illumination levels as the standard incandescent bulbs. PLUS, these are rated at a 0.42 ampere battery draw verses the standard 1156's 2.2 ampere battery draw (lower numbers mean more battery life/time) of the standard 1156 incandescent bulb.

At an operating time of 8 hours per day a standard 1156 bulb is rated at 150 days average lifetime. The LEDs are rated at over 25 years of similar operation.

One of my RVs is solar powered at a remote location where electricity is unavailable. I have found that with 2 automotive batteries and a 100W solar panel I have more than adequate interior illumination when using these LEDs in my RV.
